Job Title: Software Testing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing principles and a deep understanding of REST Assured for API testing. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for RESTful APIs using REST Assured.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and identify testing requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
  • Document test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of REST Assured for API testing.
  • Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant internships or project experience in software testing is a plus.
